Our Story

A desire to try new things, make people happy, and care for strays

The idea for this has been a long time in the making. As Frag worked through his Air Force career, then onto a network engineer, IT manager, and project manager he always told people something was missing. One constant through it all was the feeling that something was missing. “There’s nothing tangible about my work” he once said to a fellow Airman. “I configure hardware, 0’s and 1’s go all over the world. But I can’t show off a router config”. Yes, those networks were important, but only seemed to be noticed when they break.

What drives us?

Frag was always the guy trying to make things, take things apart to see how they work, and had a little bag of extra parts leftover at the end. It’s the want to make things that make people happy that is the ultimate goal. That is fueled by a need to try new things and not make the same things all the time. It’s led to the use of a CNC, Laser cutter/engraver, 3D printer, and even carving knives to learn whittling. The rest of the team is driven mostly by treats and cat toys (Except Frag’s wife. I think she’s driven by reading new books)
